Barnet Fair is a unique team of stylists who possess an elevated passion for what they do. At Barnet Fair, continuing education, and advancing existing skills is the priority to ensure we are always adapting and growing to meet the changing needs of our growing clientele.
We are always accepting application submissions for both Salon Assistant roles, as well as part time or full time Stylist positions. We kindly ask that applicants for salon assistants be in either possession or active pursuit of a cosmetology license.
Salon Assistant
Our Salon Assistantship position is a role that will prime you for a career as a full time stylist, by providing you with a deeper understanding of the everyday ebb and flow of salon life, as well as providing the actual technical knowledge needed to take on a book of clients with skill and finesse. During your practical training you will learn multiple types of haircutting and coloring techniques, as well as how to properly set up a client for a given service, complete a thorough and successful consultation, and more! In addition to salon assistantship training, we also do salon-wide continuing education multiple times throughout the year.
Stylists
We are proud to host a number of very talented and diverse stylists at Barnet Fair. We are a unique studio with a staff full of equally uniquely talented individuals. We are always thrilled to find new talent who match the level of care and excellence that we strive to maintain every day here in Old City. We are happy to provide availability for either part or full time employment. We want to work with you to provide the schedule that works for you, and allows you to hone and share your skills with Barnet Fair, and our whole community. We do provide opportunities for continuing education via multiple salonwide educator visits per year, as well as opportunities for individualized education within and beyond the salon.
